Inaugural lecture of Professor Hilary Pinnock , Professor of Primary Care Respiratory Medicine (Usher Institute).

Building on her experience as a primary care physician, Professor Hilary Pinnock has led research that aims to improve how healthcare is delivered for people living with asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other common respiratory problems.

In her inaugural lecture, Hilary will describe the opportunities and challenges presented by a portfolio career, and the rewards of national and global collaboration with academic, clinical and patient colleagues.

This lecture is free and open to all and also available to join online.

Organised by the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine, University of Edinburgh and part of the Inaugural Lectures 2023 series.
